How to restart Surface Pro 1/2/3/4 ?
Hey reader! It look likes your surface device has stopped responding. Don’t worry, We can force restart surface pro devices easily with some simple steps only.
Two way to force restart surface pro
10 SECOND HOLD
30 SECOND HOLD
Do not force shutdown/restart everyday as it may affect your device functioning
1. 10 second hold
Firstly press the power button in your device and wait till the screen turns off (It may take upto 10 seconds), then let off the power button.
Now, press the power button to start your device if Microsoft logo appears, you are good to go.
Sometimes it may not work then you can try this i.e and hold the power button till surface device starts and the window logo appears on the screen (it may take upto 20 seconds) then let off the power button.
2. 30 second hold
Start by holding power button in your surface device for 30 seconds then let it off. After this hold the power & volume up button simultaneously for about 15 seconds. During this process,The screen may flash the Surface logo several time but keep holding. Later, turn on the device after waiting for few seconds.
